Kelly Day is a Freelance Reporter who covers a variety of celebrity-based events from the red carpet to celebrity hot spots mapped all across Los Angeles – one of her favorite cities. She found her passion for writing and journalism while in high school where she wrote and reported in the entertainment section of her school newspaper. Kelly makes it a point to donate her time to children’s charities and non-profit organizations that are nearest and dearest to her heart.

Being a fourth generation Southern Californian, Kelly competed as the official Miss Palos Verdes USA in the Miss California USA pageant in 2012. Holding her hometown-based title was not only a humbling yet empowering experience, it instilled a new and profound confidence within. Then her communication with people became fearless, especially when it came to interviewing celebrities from Randy Jackson to seven of the Victoria’s Secret Angels, among others.

Kelly graduated from Marymount College with a degree in Communications. Soon after, she transferred to Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where she studied English with an Emphasis in Writing along with a Pre-Journalism Certificate. The pop culture enthusiast’s appetite for entertainment news has been whetted by her unique experiences.

As an aspiring entertainment professional, Kelly enjoys combining her love for pop culture, beauty, fashion, health, fitness, lifestyle, interior décor, weddings and charity with her drive, while always having fun in the process and getting the job done!
