Tracie Rosales has always loved fashion and make-up. After graduating from college, Tracie went to National Makeup Academy, and then to M.A.C. school. After moving to Northern Virginia with her husband, she decided to start her own company “Makeup Artistry by Tracie”.

In the four years that Makeup Artistry by Tracie has been a company, it has been honored with several awards and milestones. In 2007, The Washington Mystics (WNBA) invited Tracie to participate in events and do the girls' makeup, which she does every year. In 2008, MABT was invited to the White House’s staff appreciation day, to speak about skin care and makeup. MABT was also honored by winning the 2008 Home Based Business of the Year. In 2009 Makeup Artistry by Tracie was featured in Northern Virginia Magazine as Best Makeup Application. Tracie volunteers for charities such as The Loudoun Small Business Development Center, Arthritis Foundation, Nationals Incorporated Pageants, Active Girlz, and The Soldiers Angels Foundation.

Annual Children’s Hero Awards Gala

Established in 2009, the Annual Children’s Hero Awards Gala honors community leaders who have gone above and beyond for youth who have suffered abuse and neglect in Miami-Dade County.  This year three leaders will be honored for their extraordinary work; Alan Abramowitz, Exexcutive Director of the Florida Guardian ad Litem Program, Harve Mogul, CEO of United Way of Miami-Dade, and Katherine W. Ezell, a partner at the law firm of Podhurst Orseck.  All proceeds from the event and silent and live auction will go towards providing children with the shelter, food, medical and mental health care that they need.

2013 Wine on Harvest Moon

The 12th annual Wine on Harvest Moon presented by South BMW, will be transporting guests to the Land Down Under through wine, food and art of Australia and New Zealand.  The Deering Estate Foundation’s signature fundraising event will feature distinctive food prepared by Smith and Wollensky, Shula’s 347, Morton’s Steakhouse Coral Gables, The Oceanaire Seafood Room, Devon Seafood and Steak, George’s South Miami, Whole Foods Market Coral Gables, Paella Party, Red Fish Grill, The Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove, Ana Capri, Chef David Schwadron Catering & Events Design, and Trulucks Seafood Steak and Crab House.  Proceeds from the event are dedicated to environmental conservation and historic preservation of the Deering Estate at Cutler.

Miami Children’s Museum Not So Scary Family Halloween Bash
