Enter the doors of Seattle’s only movie production studio, dressed in either your best classic masquerade attire or an outrageous costume as Metropolitan Fashion Week is on hand to judge those who are most impressive. Costume categories will include: Best Costume, Best Masquerade, Best Group, Sexiest Female, and Sexiest Male. DJ Gigahurtz will be at the turntable pumping out the hottest beats all night long.
Last year, the Bonza Bash Masquerade Costume Ball gave away over $10,000 in prizes, including a round trip ticket for two to Australia! This year’s prizes will be just as epic if not more!
Dancing the night away in your best costume will also be helping out charity! This year, Bonza Bash will be supporting the work of Dollar Per Month (DPM). Started by Doug and Jason Clerget in January 2012, the DPM Charitable Foundation educates and empowers its members to create positive charitable impact through the use of an engaging platform that removes traditional constraints to philanthropic giving (i.e. protecting the environment, helping the homeless into jobs and homes, feeding the hungry and much more).
“Dollar Per Month is incredibly honored and excited to be this year’s charity party of the Bonza Bash annual Halloween Masquerade Ball,” says DPM Executive Director and Founder, Doug Clerget. “The charities we support through Dollar Per Month Charitable Foundation do such amazing work in the world that any opportunity that we have to increase the support we provide to them is a blessing. Year in and year out Bonza Bash throws one of the best Halloween parties on the West Coast, and so to be included in such an event raising money for awesome charities and getting more people familiar with the Dollar Per Month community is nothing but a win, win for DPM.”
Each month DPM members choose where their donations go by voting on one of three charities. The winning charity receives 50%, the second charity receives 30% and the third 20% – no charity loses! Members can invite friends and family to join, donate, and vote, increasing the chance that chosen charity will win. As new people join because of referrals, the Social Impact Score™ of that member will increase, so they can see how they are personally impacting the world for the better.
