Lesley has been actively involved in various charities such as the Animal Resource Foundation, Komen For the Cure, Prevent Cancer Foundation, American Diabetes Association and the Race for Hope (benefitting the National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure).

Darigold’s Farmalicious Corn Maze At Thomasson Family Farm

Fall has officially hit the Puget Sound! Along with the cool, crisp weather that only autumn can bring to the Pacific Northwest, Darigold and the Thomasson Family Farm once again brings you and your family a 216,000 square foot “Farmalicious” corn maze! The corn maze is designed and hand cut into the field and spells out “It’s Farmalicious”, along with other artistic twists and turns, making it a one-of-a-kind adventure! With the help of Darigold, the theme this year is “when farm meets delicious.”

So turn off the computer games and bring your children and your neighbor’s children down to beautiful Enumclaw, Wash. during the entire month of October to experience outdoor fun at Thomasson Family Farm. After finding your way through the corn maze, your family can play old-fashioned farm attractions including apple-lobbing sling shots competitions, and even a corn box for the kids to play in (think sand box with corn kernels!), all while learning about how important local farming is to the Puget Sound community.

Darigold is committed to the Pacific Northwest community. They recently announced a year-long commitment to provide two pallets of milk per week to Northwest Harvest, in part to help fight hunger in Washington State. The mission of Northwest Harvest is to provide nutritious food to hungry people statewide in a manner that respects their dignity, while fighting to eliminate hunger, providing over 1.8 million meals each month to families in need. Their vision is to have ample nutritious food available to everyone in Washington State. By supporting their mission, Darigold is also encouraging the public to donate non-perishable items to help fill the other refrigerators on site the day of the event, all of which will be donated to Northwest Harvest.
