On Wednesday, September 25 fashion blogger Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes hosted a media event at the Northpark 7 For All Mankind to reveal their newest creation: 7 for All Mankind x Mahlia Kent, “Where denim innovation meets French couture.”
What started off as an inspiration trip to Paris, turned into a visit to the chateau of French mill Malhia Kent, just outside France’s city of lights. The result: this season’s most coveted couture collaboration. Premier luxury denim brand, 7 For All Mankind, will introduce the Mahlia Kent x 7FAM capsule collection for women in the Fall of 2013, making 7FAM the first denim brand to create a couture 5-pocket.

Malhia Kent’s iconic and luxurious tweeds, known for their lighter and stronger characteristics, are pieced with 7FAM’s Slim Illusion Second Skin to create four special and exquisite styles for the collection. It includes The Skinny in The Silver Geo Tweed pant, Egyptian Gold Tweed pant, and Blue Metallic Stripe Tweed pant with matching moto jacket. 7FAM’s newest innovation, the Slim Illusion Second Skin, has amazing recovery and stretch that holds one in and slims one down while retaining the comfort of a jegging. This 100 percent elasticity textile is produced from a unique, super stretch denim fabric of the lightest weight construction, offering maximum comfort and stretch while maintaining the integrity and character of denim.
“We fell in love with the Malhia Kent fabrics as soon as we saw them.
