In 2007, dessert-lover Jennifer Shea and her husband, Michael Williamson founded Trophy Cupcakes. Believing that every day should be a party filled with colorful confetti, treats and surprises, Jennifer and Michael poured their hearts into bringing pure party perfection to Seattle. Trophy doesn’t just create delicious confections for all to enjoy, they are also actively involved in the community. Trophy proudly donates to a wide variety of very worthy causes, especially to those that improve the health and happiness of children in the Seattle community. In a typical year, Trophy donates nearly 100,000 cupcakes to local food banks, schools and non-profits. They have provided thousands of fun and tasty prizes for the Seattle Mayor’s “Be here. Get there.” campaign, which has increased student attendance in Seattle Public Schools. They have also provided cupcakes and support to Neighborhood House, benefiting in need families all over Seattle. Their support even extends to animal welfare groups and organizations such as Woodland Park Zoo, the Seattle Animal Shelter and the Seattle Humane Society!
On Saturday, September 28, Jennifer will be releasing her first book, Trophy Cupcakes & Parties and all of Seattle is invited!
Guests will enjoy unlimited Trophy cupcakes (including delicious flavors found only in her book), a “bubble bar” featuring one of Jennifer’s “Top 5 Bubblies” from the book, a cupcake-meets-cotton candy collaboration with Spun Cotton Candy, limited-edition Trophy-inspired confections from Theo Chocolate, a sweet collaboration with Simple & Crisp, and last but not least, a party snack from Scout Provisions, taken right from the pages of the book!
Music will be provided by DJ Baby Van Beezly and USnaps photo booth will be on hand to capture all the delectable moments. Guests will have the opportunity to create their own masterpiece at the “decorate your own cupcake” bar (featuring every topping and topper a cupcake lover could imagine). Chef Renee Erickson’s 1960 Divco dairy van-turned-food truck, The Narwhal, will be on site with fried oysters, smoked trout salad, herring rillettes and more available for purchase. A fully stocked cash bar will also be available.
