Rogue Rescue Run To Benefit Texas Humane Heroes

RRR 8.5x11 v3

Texas Humane Heroes is teaming up with Rogue Running for the Rogue Rescue Run 5K, as well as a Dog Jog 5K and Kids’ K. The shelter’s two locations both aid in its mission of finding forever families for the homeless dogs and cats who enter its gates. They serve all of Central Texas and strive to make the entire community no-kill. Between spaying/neutering, vaccinations, food and shelter the group typically spends about $200 per animal it receives. This run will be a long way toward supporting Texas Humane Heroes and the animals that they work tirelessly to provide for. Without government funding, the nonprofit relies on donations to support its mission.

The Rogue Rescue Run 5K will encourage participants who are looking to get some outdoor exercise and be champions for a great cause by running for the dogs and cats who will be rescued this year. Early registration is over, but there is plenty of time to sign up and run solo or with a kid or canine at this year’s race. Participants will receive both a T-shirt and a goody bag, along with the satisfaction of knowing that they are saving animal’s lives.
