Megan loves thrift shopping all over the city and scoring new finds at unique stores. While she has enjoyed deep-dish pizza, she still loves her thin crust! The theme of this year’s Green Tie Ball XXII was Willy Wonkaland. The Green Tie Ball XXII was emceed by the hosts of Windy City Live, Val Warner and Ryan Chiaverini. Guests were able to sample some of Chicago’s best eats, from Harry Caray’s to delicious espresso creme filled donuts from Firecakes. Cadillac was a big sponsor, providing pink slippers to party guests wearing heels! In keeping with the theme, Wonka Bars from Rivers Casino were aplenty. Oompa Lompas and Wonka themed characters mingled among the guests.

Music was provided by Dr. Bombay Band, and later on, guests were able to listen to Lupe Fiasco and DJ Sky Gellatly!

It was a great night filled with candy, black ties, evening dresses, and inspiration for us to be good stewards to our city and our environment.
