On Monday, September 23, 2013, the second annual Taste of New Orleans Fundraiser will be held at the Pavilion of the Two Sisters in City Park. The event will feature an extensive tasting menu, as well as auctions and a raffle. With numerous current and former Saints players expected, proceeds will go to support the efforts of The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation.

Showcasing representatives from almost twenty restaurants and wineries, the event will mark one of the year’s premiere dining events. A refined spread of food and wine pairings have been planned, introducing both established and new local talents for the attendees’ enjoyment. All food and wine tastings are included in the cost of attendance.

One-of-a-kind sports items and memorabilia will be featured for both silent and live auction purchase, as well as amongst the available raffle prizes. Through the generous contribution of our local Saints, guests will also have the opportunity to purchase official NFL footballs for collection of the attending players’ autographs. Other auction items will include jewelry, gift certificates and locally-sourced gifts.

As for scheduled entertainment, both live jazz and DJ performances are planned. In addition, making the evening extra special, each attendee will receive an official gift bag that contains a custom wine glass, information about The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation and other New Orleans keepsakes.
