Off Broad Street is a consortium of theaters designed to celebrate professional independent theater in Philadelphia. To maximize marketing efforts, these seven theater companies banded together to develop a wider reach than each would have the capabilities of doing on their own.  Off Broad Street focuses on nurturing audiences’ appreciation of adventurous, artist-driven theater. By exposing Philadelphia audiences to the vast rage of their work, the consortium is able to increase awareness of high-quality alternatives to mainstream theatrical venues as well as heighten the awareness of the masses to the magnitude of the Philadelphia theater community.
