Disney’s Beauty and the Beast tells the love story of Belle, a bright young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, a prince trapped by an enchantress’ spell.  If the Beast can learn to love and be loved the curse will be broken.  If he fails he and his household companions will be trapped in the curse for all eternity.

“The theme of ‘Beauty’ is about seeing past the exterior into the heart of someone, and this is reflected in the design for the show, which is about transparency and layers, seeing past one thing and into another,” said, Director, Rob Roth.

The Broadway productions’ original creators are thrilled to be collaborating once again on this new touring production. “Hopefully I’ve grown and developed as an artist, along with my collaborators, and we can bring 15 years of experience to this new production . . . it has been so much fun getting together to re-explore and re-invent the show for this new NETworks tour,” says, Roth.

The revised Broadway production features the Academy Award®-winning score of the animated film, music by Alan Menken, lyrics by the late
