Come celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Komen Austin Race for the Cure at the Project Pink Fashion Show on September 21. Bring your girl friends to what promises to be a runway show like no other.

Designers from the University of Texas at Austin, The Art Institute Austin School of Fashion and McCullum High School will take vintage race tees and combine them with various fabrics to create fun runway looks. What makes it even better? The models will be local breast cancer survivors.

The designers will be judged based on their technique and vision for the model. The winning designer will receive $500.00 donated by Ticketbud, jewelry designed by Kendra Scott and a one-on-one entrepreneurship meeting with the judges.

The judges include Allison Schickel, the creator of The Brobe, Ross Bennett of The Ross Bennett Collection, members of the Kendra Scott team, Matt Swinney, the creator of the Austin Fashion Week and Sarah McLaughlin Reed of Sarah Eileen.

Models and designers were paired up in early July and set to work bonding and creating the pieces.

WHEN: Saturday, September 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
