Meera Rajagopalan is the Austin Editor for Miss A. A proud Longhorn, Meera earned her journalism degree from UT. Some of her hobbies include event planning, writing and baking. She loves trying new recipes and experimenting with food. Her latest creation was Pistachio Fudge. A tech nerd at heart, Meera loves cool iPhone apps and geeking out with friends about social media trends. Aside from the tech stuff, Meera also enjoys discovering new fonts. There’s something about finding the perfect font to help enhance titles. Besides her hobbies, Meera loves free stuff. So Long Summer! At The Long Center

This weekend, come celebrate the end of summer at the Long Center. This electric concert series will give audience members an opportunity to jam out with artists. The Long Center has had a busy summer, with different events for Austinites and visitors.  Come help them close out the summer and rock out. Texas Longhorns vs. New Mexico State Aggies

TEXAS! FIGHT! This Saturday, the Texas Longhorns will kick-off their 2013 football season. Get ready for Saturdays filled with tailgates, cheering and of course, burnt orange. While tickets are likely to be very expensive for this season opener, be sure to cheer on the Longhorns at any sports bar. It will be televised on the Longhorn Network.

For our Texas A&M Aggie readers, the Aggies will take on the Rice Owls at Kyle Field at noon. This game will be on ESPN.
