On Friday, September 6, 2013, the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation will present the third annual Gleason Gras, supporting the efforts of Team Gleason. The event, featuring delicious food offerings, games and live music, will take place in Champions Square, next to the New Orleans Superdome. In addition, attendees will also partake in the first Saints Pep Rally of the 2013 NFL season!

While the general event is free and open to the public, VIP and Tailgate Zone options are also available.

VIP tickets are available for both children and adults, and include several special amenities. All VIP attendees will enjoy access to Club XLIV, which will feature an open bar, as well as food from Arnaud’s, Galatoire’s, Mr. John’s Steakhouse and several other gourmet restaurants. In addition, these tickets will allow participation in both live and silent auctions, as well as upfront stage access.

Adults partaking in the Bud Light Tailgate Zone option will enjoy not only free beer, but also food from Cook Me Somethin’ Mista! and Lucky Dog. Likewise, a private silent auction, as well as games within a private air-conditioned tent, will add to the fun.

Featuring 121,000 square feet, Champions Square serves as one of the city’s premiere outdoor venues for concerts, festivals, and other celebrations. Opened in August 2010, the setting commemorates the Saints’ victory at Superbowl XLIV, and hosts thousands of fans before each home football game.

Team Gleason is dedicated building global awareness of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), as well as other neuromuscular diseases and injuries. Founded by former Saints player Steve Gleason, the organization not only funds important research and technology efforts, but also provides for and documents the “life adventures” of those fighting the disease.

Bringing together the very best of New Orleans – Saints, food, and fun – Gleason Gras should not be missed. Kick off the 2013 NFL season, and support the life-changing efforts of Team Gleason.
