When one thinks of fashionable cities the first ones that come to mind are Paris, Milan and of course NYC. However, with Atlanta being the new-found Hollywood of the South, many would say that we are in the most up-and-coming cities for trendsetters. With the Atlanta Housewives Cynthia Bailey and Nene Leakes being fashionistas themselves, they are one of the few to shine the light on how fashion-conscious the city has become. The Jeffrey Fashion Cares event will be returning to the city on August 26, 2013, featuring a cocktail reception, fashion show, live auction and an after party.
Jeffrey Kalinsky, the Arbiter of Style, has created a name for himself in both Manhattan and Atlanta for his trendy and exclusive boutiques. This event has allowed him to give back to the very community in which his stores are housed and benefit the Atlanta AIDS Fund (AAF) and Susan G. Komen’s Greater Atlanta Affiliate. To date, Jeffrey Fashion Cares has raised over $11 million benefiting AIDS and breast cancer research in hopes of one day finding a cure.
As far as why you should buy a ticket? Not only will the proceeds go toward potentially finding a cure for AIDS and breast cancer, you’ll mix and mingle with Atlanta’s elite crowd and be privy to see the Fall/Winter Collection pieces from high end designers such as Balenciaga, Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Prada and Alexander Wang.
For more information about getting a ticket visit Jeffrey Fashion Cares. We hope to see you there.
