Tracie Rosales has always loved fashion and make-up. After graduating from college, Tracie went to National Makeup Academy, and then to M.A.C. school. After moving to Northern Virginia with her husband, she decided to start her own company “Makeup Artistry by Tracie”.

In the four years that Makeup Artistry by Tracie has been a company, it has been honored with several awards and milestones. In 2007, The Washington Mystics (WNBA) invited Tracie to participate in events and do the girls' makeup, which she does every year. In 2008, MABT was invited to the White House’s staff appreciation day, to speak about skin care and makeup. MABT was also honored by winning the 2008 Home Based Business of the Year. In 2009 Makeup Artistry by Tracie was featured in Northern Virginia Magazine as Best Makeup Application. Tracie volunteers for charities such as The Loudoun Small Business Development Center, Arthritis Foundation, Nationals Incorporated Pageants, Active Girlz, and The Soldiers Angels Foundation.

CoverGirl’s Hunger Games: Capital Collection

It is almost time for the second film of The Hunger Games trilogy, Catching Fire, to make its cinematic splash. CoverGirl announced in May that it was going to be releasing a makeup line inspired by the film.  The makeup line will be called the “Capital Collection.”  CoverGirl will be creating the line based off the film’s 12 districts including: lip glosses, nail polishes, nail decals, mascara and shadows.

This week the campaign released two photos to give everyone a taste of what is to come and from the looks of it, if you were a fan of what you saw in the last movie than this is right up your alley. Can you say glam and divas?!
