These days I feel like all I do is laundry. My son is in the process of being potty trained. Even though it has been a few months, he is still having accidents, which is making my laundry load even bigger and unfortunately messier! It can become quite a mess and sometimes I end up throwing out clothing that has too many stains. I was asked to try the new ARM & HAMMER Ultra Power 4x Liquid Laundry Detergent. Along with the ARM & HAMMER laundry detergent I also got the help of some ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda! With these two products laundry and housework is no longer a chore! I could smell the difference in my laundry and see the results in my sons not so clean clothes! I no longer feel like I have to throw out soiled clothing. I can successfully get the stains out of my sons clothes.

I’ve always been one that has a strong sense of smell. When I do my laundry and I don’t get that “fresh laundry smell”, I feel like something is wrong. When I used the new ARM & HAMMER Ultra Power 4x liquid laundry detergent with the scent “refreshing falls” I instantly knew my laundry was going to smell fresh. Out of the dryer the clothes were soft and smelled great! The great thing about the ARM & HAMMER Ultra Power 4x Liquid Laundry Detergent is that it has double scoops of baking soda. It makes your laundry 50% whiter and 50% fresher. The baking soda helps deodorize stinky laundry and helps get out stains. With a toddler who gets messy and is being potty trained, I couldn’t ask for more in a laundry detergent. If you are more sensitive you may opt for the perfume and dye free option.

I use baking soda all the time (not just for baking!). I’ve discovered how handy ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda is around the house, especially with a little one dragging around dirt everywhere he goes! Here are some tips and helpful hints for using ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda and ARM & HAMMER Ultra Power 4x Liquid Laundry Detergent around your house;

Dealing With Tough Stains:

With kids in the house, there are always stains to deal with! For clothing, when using your ARM & HAMMER Ultra Power 4x Liquid Laundry Detergent, you can pre-treat stains by pouring the detergent directly onto the stain and rubbing it in. Wash it immediately. Use ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda to help you clean up and deodorize accidents caused by babies on upholstery and carpet. Sprinkle area with Baking Soda and let sit for 15 minutes before vacuuming it up. Always make sure to test in an inconspicuous spot!

Use  ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda for your mouth:

Besides cooking, this is probably my favorite use for my ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda. Use it to help keep your teeth clean and white by dipping your damp toothbrush into a small bowl of Baking Soda. It can also help you control your bad breath by adding 1 teaspoon of  Baking Soda into half a glass of water. Swish and rinse like you would with mouth wash.

Freshen Stuffed Animals:

I was always confused how you were supposed to keep stuffed animals clean! I thought that stuffed animals were impossible to “wash” so how would they ever get clean? With the use of Baking Soda you can sprinkle your kids stuffed animals and give them a “dry shower.”  Leave it on for 15 minutes and then brush off to remove residue.

Cleaning Baby Toys:

Your little one is constantly putting things in his mouth. When cleaning your little ones toys you don’t want to use anything with harsh chemicals. Dissolve 4 tablespoons of ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda in 1 quart of warm water. Wash toys with a clean damp cloth. Rinse and dry. This is the best way to clean and deodorize your kids toys.

Who knew that one small box of inexpensive ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda had so many uses! The list goes on and on, you can check out more uses here. Doing your laundry and keeping your home smelling fresh doesn’t have to be challenging. You can start by adding some ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda to your laundry or you can try their new laundry detergent that has two scoops of baking soda already in it! With kids almost back in school grass stains and crayon stains will be ever present too! Get your house ready for all those accidents by picking up some ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda and Ultra Power 4x Liquid Laundry Detergent.
