Each year, businesses around the country hold events in support of the Jimmy Fund, which benefits the ever-important efforts of Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. To show one’s support in New Orleans, (as well as to find the city’s most avid Red Sox Fans,) one should look no further than 45 Tchoup. In addition to benefiting the fund’s primary cause, a portion of the locally-raised donations will also go to support the New Orleans Recreational Development Commission (NORDC.)
On Tuesday, August 27, and Wednesday, August 28, 45 Tchoup will present evenings’ of raffle prizes, games, give-aways, a live auction, and other special treats. In 2012, representing the state of Louisiana, the a bar raised over $10,000 for the Jimmy Fund, and looks for 2013 to be a record-breaking event. Read all the details on the event’s Facebook page.
