Here’s a great way to beat the heat during your end-of-summer Florida vacay — just steps from the beach, the Sense Beach House has created a new “Sun Survival Lounge” for guests.
Nothing feels (or looks) worse than a bright red burn after a day of fun in the sun. Don’t be that tourist on the beach sporting the raccoon eyes or the red lobster look! Imagine making the trip to South Beach and getting too sun-struck during the day to enjoy Miami’s thriving nightlife. That, my friend, would be an epic fail.
Instead, head to the “lounge” located at the Sense Beach House’s rooftop pool to relax in the shade, snack on fruit, apply cooling after-sun lotions and sip on re-energizing drinks like coconut water and melon juice — all complimentary.
Designed to help guests ward off that after-sun feeling, the “Sun Survival Lounge” is open for hotel guests from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The boutique hotel is small enough that the staff will make you feel as if you’re staying in your own private beach house. Not only is it just steps from an idyllic white-sand beach, there’s also a gorgeous rooftop pool where you can lounge and relax for hours. It’s a great retreat for rejuvenation.
