Austin Weekend Guide: August 9 – 11, 2013

I still can’t believe it’s already August. What’s more unbelievable is that tax-free weekend is this weekend, which means school will be starting soon. Then it will be Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Soon we’ll be ringing in another year. I hope the rest of the year doesn’t go by that fast.

Besides Tax-Free Weekend, there are a lot of other events happening in Austin. Check them out below.

All Weekend Long

Tax-Free Weekend

It’s upon us. That one weekend in the year when parents, children and students shop ‘til they drop. Well, it’s one of the weekends in the year. The thing that makes this one special is that it is Tax-Free Weekend. Before heading back to school, shoppers will be able to save on clothes, school supplies and other back-to-school necessities and not pay sales tax on them.

The Action Pack will hold another one of their epic sing-alongs, featuring the best of Third Eye Blind, Eve 6,  Tom Cochrane, Green Day and many more. This will definitely be a night to remember.
