July 31 to August 4, Lindy dance instructors from around the world are invited to inspire, teach, dance and show the public at Lindy on the Rocks. During the five-day event, there’s an explosion of workshops, classes, dance shows, competitions and a gala to conclude the celebration. To join the fun, you can choose the following options: full weekend pass, competitor pass or high school student pass.

The Full Weekend Pass gives you access to classes, dances and competitions. Competitor pass includes all main and late-night dances, pool party and allows you to compete, but it does not include individual competitions or workshops. High school student pass includes all the dances and workshops and you must present a valid ID upon arrival.

Once you purchase your choice of pass, you can add on additional events including the Swing in the City Gala, which is not included in any of the passes. If you’re a competitor, you can add individual competitions such as the Open Jack and Jill, Slow Strictly or Solo Mojo. If you only want to attend the gala, you can purchase the gala-only pass.

Throughout the week, classes, workshops and competitions are held in different venues around Denver. These venues include Irish Snug, Mercury Cafe and Denver Turnverein. You can view the full schedule here.

The Swing in the City Gala is hosted in the beautiful Donald Seawell Ballroom at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The gala includes silent auction, cocktail hour, beginning dance lesson, Annual Swing in the City Gala and Dinner Show with a live music and dance conclusion. All proceeds from the event will fund school programs in 
the 2013-2014 school year by providing world-class dance and music education programming for preschool through high school in Colorado.
