On Thursday, July 25, Share Our Strength, the country’s leading anti-hunger organization, will host Taste of the Nation South Florida at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. The event will have more than 50 of the top restaurants from Dade and Broward counties serving up bites, along with fine wines and spirits, live entertainment and an array of auction items on hand. One hundred percent of ticket sales go to Share Our Strength to fight childhood hunger.
“For the past 25 years, Share Our Strength hosted two events in the region, Taste of the Nation Dade and Taste of the Nation Broward. Now Taste of the Nation supporters will be able to enjoy the best food and wine offerings from both counties at a larger event, for the price of one ticket,” notes Jamie Balhon, Southeast Regional Manager of Share Our Strength’s culinary events.
An impressive mix of fine dining establishments is confirmed to participate. The list of restaurant participants to date includes: 3030 Ocean, Bianca at the Delano, Bloom Wynwood, Café Prima Pasta, Casa D’Angelo Fort Lauderdale, Dolce Italian, Edge Steak & Bar at Four Seasons, Florida Cookery, Gotham Steak & Bar at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, HaVen Gastro-Lounge, Joe’s Stone Crab Restaurant, Katsuya, Lilikoi & Company, Khong River House, Little Palm Island, Makoto at Bal Harbour Shops, MC Kitchen, Meat Market, Milos by Costas Spiliadis, Oak Tavern, The Oceanaire, Palate Party, Preston’s, Loews Miami Beach, PubBelly Restaurant, Quattro Gastronomia Italiana, Raw Body Food, Red The Steakhouse, Restaurant Michael Schwartz, Sakaya Kitchen, Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante, Sea Level, Shake Shack, Shikany, St. Regis Bal Harbour, Steak 954, SUGARCANE raw bar grill, SUSHISAMBA Miami Beach, Susie’s Scrumptious Sweets, Swine Southern Table, Ten Palms, The Bazaar by Joe Andres, The Dutch at W South Beach Hotel & Residences, The Federal Food Drink & Provisions, Tongue and Cheek, Toro Toro Restaurant, Tosca, Whole Foods Market, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, Wynwood Kitchen & Bar, Yardbird Southern Table and Bar and Zuma Restaurant.
