Rosaline Hampton Hosts 3rd Annual Fashion Camp For Teens

Summertime is camp time, and this week a group of teen girls from Seattle and Tacoma will be attending the 3rd Annual Fashion Camp. Fashion Camp is non-profit organization that was created by Rosaline Hampton.

Rosaline believes that each individual has a unique inner beauty, strength and spirit, and she created Fashion Camp to help young girls discover their personal style and build confidence. Each day girls learn from inspirational mentors who share words of encouragement about what it takes to follow your dreams.

The roster of classes sounds fantastic. Topics include fashion, beauty, fitness and self-confidence. Examples and participating speakers/mentors include:

  • How a Positive Attitude Can Affect Your Image – Dorothy Beltufo
  • Making Your Own Custom Jewelry – Mandy Moon Vintage
  • Flybarre ClassBeverly Chaney
  • Body Types and Self Confidence – Cassie Hackett and Faith Hutcherson
  • All About Hair – Kay Matthews
  • Makeup with the Makeup GeekMarlena Stell
  • “Self” Seminar and Dream Boards – Amy Yamada

Rosaline shared that some of the most powerful moments from camp are when the girls share their thoughts after each day. In many cases, self-confidence can be impacted from what happens at home and in schools, and the girls share their experiences and make a group of friends that all keep in touch even after the camp week ends.
