The 2013 Colorado Burlesque Festival is here! Bringing the art of tassel-twirling and sexy shimmying to a fever pitch, this glamorous, star-studded weekend showcases local and international burlesque, boylesque and variety acts.

A four day event over the second week of July, everyone is bound to be entertained and inspired. Thursday night is the opening gala which is hosted at Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret, with shows at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. The Opening Gala kicks off the entire festival with a cast of entertainers from all around the globe and a tiki-themed patio party. Hosted by local singer and emcee, Cora Vette, this show is over two hours of live singing, dancing, comedy and of course, a lot of tease!

Friday’s festivities are an all-day event which include daytime workshops and master classes at the Curtis Hotel, an 8 p.m. VIP evening showcase at Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret, plus an 11:30 p.m. “Naughty Nightcap” celebration, also at Lannie’s.
