Chrissy Kent is a Canadian born Bostonian who has bounced back and forth between the UK and the USA for most of her life. She recently graduated with a BA in Radio and Television from Ryerson University in Toronto Ontario. Living in the heart of Canada's biggest cosmopolitan city has given her great exposure to both the mainstream and subculture lifestyles of women- both young and old. She is excited about starting her journey in the beautiful city of Boston! Allstate Life Insurance 13.1 Marathon To Benefit One Fund Boston

On Sunday September 15, 2013 US Road Sports will host The Allstate Life Insurance Boston 13.1  Marathon to raise money for The One Fund. Two of America’s most iconic long-distance runners, 4-time Boston Marathon winner Bill Rodgers and Olympic Gold Medalist Frank Shorter will lace up to run in their first long distance race in years. Six months after the Boston Marathon bombings, Rodgers, Shorter and 5,000 plus runners, will run to honor those affected by the bombings.

The route will begin at Suffolk Downs and follow the McClellan Highway and throughout East Boston and Revere.
