On Wednesday, June 26, the third floor of Boyd’s Philadelphia served as an area for guests to preview clothing while getting a preview of what they’ll be enjoying at The Butterfly Ball, for Living Beyond Breast Cancer, in October.

DJ Jon Gill provided the tunes to set the atmosphere, while servers from the event’s caterer Raw: Sushi and Saki Lounge circulated the room giving guests the opportunity to taste dumplings, sushi and other hors d’oeurves. After washing their bites down with champagne and wine, guests had the opportunity to bid on a dazzling Harry Winston wrist watch, view Boyd’s fashionable inventory and make purchases using vouchers they were given for attending the night’s festivities.

On Saturday, October 12, women’s clothing boutique White House | Black Market will present the annual Butterfly Ball at the Hyatt at the Bellevue. The black-tie gala raises funds that support the programs and services provided by the organization throughout the year. It also serves as a way for the organization to “honor women for their courage, strength and compassion.” Some of the women that will be honored were at the preview party.
