The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation raised more than $40,000  from its Pier Madness event – a preppy themed soiree at Charlestown’s Courageous Sailing Center. Guests mingled in their best seer sucker, Lily Pulitzer, bow ties and Nantucket red attire while feasting on a New England-style lobster bake from Woodman’s of Essex. Complimentary beer and wine were provided along with live entertainment from the LEGIT Band. This band was legit. I would recommend them for any event. Very upbeat and fun.

The two speakers of the evening were inspiring. Cindy Stumpo from the HGTV Show, “Tough as Nails” and Sam Banon from the CCFS’s Young Professionals Committee.

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is the largest voluntary non-profit health organization dedicated to finding cures for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD).
