On Tuesday, June 11 Sherri Shepherd hosted the Samsung Hope for Children 12th Annual Gala at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Sherri Shepherd was a part of the team/cast of The View during August 2009 when they won Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Host. Sherri and her co-hosts were also chosen as part of the “100 Most Influential People in the World” by Time magazine. Sherri has plenty of credentials, but overall she known for her majestic, humorous personality. Sherri was able to bring excitement and joy to the 12th annual gala event on Tuesday evening.
Overall, the event had a large array of guests – from professional athletes, musicians and television stars, to the common day worker. Some of the special guests were: Chelsea Clinton, Robin Thicke, Tony Bennett, John Legend, Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20), Jimmie Johnson (NASCAR), Drew Brees (New Orleans Saints), Boomer Esiason (Retired NFL, Sports Analyst for CBS & WFAN), Chris Noth (The Good Wife), Rosario Dawson (actress), Jessica Stam (model), Jessica Szohr (The Internship, Gossip Girl), Karolina Kurkova (model), Rick Ross (Hip Hop Mogul), Anthony Laciura (Boardwalk Empire), Tamara Tunie (Law & Order), Vinny Guadagnino (Jersey Shore), Grizz Chapman (30 Rock), Kris Humphries (Brooklyn Nets), Stephen Baldwin (The Usual Suspects), Caroline Manzo (The Real Housewives of New Jersey), Nico Tortorella (The Following), Jacqueline Laurita (The Real Housewives of New Jersey), Prince Amukamara (NY Giants), Willie Colon (NY Jets), Steve Wilkos (The Steve Wilkos Show) and many more! The event featured special performances by Robin Thicke, Estelle and Matchbox 20.

The Samsung Hope for Children 12th Annual Gala was a major success.
