Restaurants for Refugees is a part of ACC’s World Refugee Day Events. This ongoing event will be hosted at different restaurants from June 11 through June 20. This offers everyone the opportunity to dine at some of Denver’s best restaurants, bars, and wine bars all while supporting refugee programs. Some of the restaurants hosting are Jelly, Le Central, and Breakfast on Broadway.

Safari Thrift is the African Community Center’s own community driven thrift store. On June 23 they will be offering store wide sales. Safari Thrift is a way for refugees to gain valuable work experience and income during their first years of resettlement. This is yet another way to help donate to the cause of refugees while finding some fun items for yourself  and your friends.
