Garden Grapes and Hops

The Denver Botanic Gardens has always been a favorite local hot spot. Family friendly and also a great date spot, the Gardens showcases exotic flora and fauna and beautiful art by local artists. In addition to being the home of a garden of plants, it has been slowly recognized as a summer hot spot for concerts, special events and more. This weekend, The Garden Grapes and Hops is a fun summer party featuring savory bites from local restaurants, unlimited beer and wine samples, live entertainment and a tasting cup to bring home.

Old South Pearl Street BrewGrass

You know it’s summer when your neighborhood is hosting a beer event and blue grass bands for the public to enjoy. As part of the Rock the Block series, Old South Pearl Street hosts three bluegrass and brews event where the first one is titled BrewGrass. Taking over two blocks of Pearl Street, this festival includes a variety of beer, which you can obtain by buying drink tickets, and a few favorite food vendors. This year, BrewGrass is featuring seven bands Mountain Standard TimeThe Black LilliesHumming HouseWhitewater RambleJonas Friddle & the Majority, Trout Steak Revival and Blue Canyon Boys. This is more of a standing festival, but there’s a giant tent providing shade with several tables. Feel free to jam out to some bluegrass or hang back with the breweries!

Denver Paint the Runway

Fashion is a rising art, profession and passion in the city of Denver and on Saturday, June 8, First Class Fashionista is hosting Denver Paint the Runway. An exciting night of fashion and art with special guests from the Denver Art Society and Artreach, this almost sold-out event is raising funds to support local artists and make it possible for at-risk children to attend Camp ArtReach this summer. All seating tickets may be sold out, but there is still plenty left for standing-only tickets. So support your local artist and give back to the youth this weekend!

Festival for Water

Make your way down to Civic Center Park for a free concert to benefit Water for People at the Festival for Water. With a vast space like Civic Center Park, you can expect your favorite food trucks to be there including Manna from Heaven, Biker Jim’s, Hey PB&J and many more!

Ballroom with a Twist
