Alexandra “Alex” Scott was diagnosed with neuroblastoma shortly before her first birthday. Throughout her young years, Alex had faced a stem cell transplant and other medical treatments to try to eliminate the cancer. During that time, Alex came up with the idea to have a lemonade stand and use the money she earned to help other children with cancer. This wonderful sentiment was the beginning of Alex’s Lemonade Stand and would later be the driving force behind Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. At 8 years of age, Alex lost her fight with cancer but the path she created and pursued would become a strong, permanent base of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Her parents, Liz and Jay Scott, took this loving, powerful vision and used it in their quest to provide a wide range of services for those who are dealing with childhood cancer, initiate fundraising efforts to increase awareness about childhood cancers and to raise funds for research to help find a cure.

The Second Annual Lemon Ride to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is sure to be a memorable and fun event. Register to take part in the Lemon Ride and help an excellent organization continue their work in the fight against childhood cancer.
