June 1 marks the first day of the 2013 Hurricane Season, and to commemorate, Pat O’Brien’s will hold their annual tradition of a kick-off gathering. From 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., the bar’s French Quarter location will offer half-priced Hurricanes, an event that attracts many locals and tourists alike.

Oyster Fest

Featuring over 20 restaurants, New Orleans‘ Oyster Fest presents both traditional oyster dishes and inventive culinary takes on the Gulf Coast favorite. Held in Woldenberg Park, between the French Quarter and Central Business District, the event will also showcase a great musical line-up, including local favorites, as well as Joe Nichols and The Gin Blossoms.
