It’s that time of year again! The time of year where country music fans embrace nearly a week of festivities devoted to them! Since 1972 this jam-packed festival has been taking over Music City. Fans from near and far make downtown Nashville their home for the week as the festival takes over Broadway and surrounding areas with concerts, meet and greets, games and more!
The headliners of LP Field resemble that of an All-star lineup. With four days worth of jaw-dropping talent, fans will experience artists such as Luke Bryan, Taylor Swift, Zac Brown Band, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Kip Moore, The Band Perry, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood to name a few. Although access to LP Field is sold out, supporters are encouraged to partake in a variety of activities throughout town that are sure to provide a dose of excitement to country fanantics with high expectations.
With the impressive VIP lineup taking over LP Field, you’d think the fun would stop there, but you’d be wrong. There will be a multitude of artists performing just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the Tennessee Titan’s playgound. Across the Cumberland River rests the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage that is all set to host free daily concerts during the four day fest for the eager public. Country star, Sara Evans will warm up the stage for the following acts as she launches the daily concerts on Riverfront Stage on Thursday, June 6. Artists such as Craig Morgan, Colt Ford, Joe Nichols, Gloriana, Dustin Lynch, Brett Eldredge, Jo Dee Messina, Jerrod Niemann, Gretchen Wilson and Lonestar are among the lineup that will step on stage throughout the week to provide non-stop entertainment to country music devotees.
Additionally, the week will be studded with events and activities for fans of all flavors including Marty
Stuart’s Late Night Jam, City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge, 2013 CMT Music Awards and AT & T U-verse Fan Fair X. Held at the new Music City Center, Fan Fair X is among one the most popular daytime attractions. The Music City Center will open it’s doors on Thursday, June 6 with “Lady A Day” where the band will cut the ribbon allowing Fan Fair X to offically kick off. Country music buffs will not be disappointed as opportunities for meet and greets, photographs with celebrities, and live stage performances will take over the venue. With a variety of offering suitable for fans of all sorts, there is no doubt this is a uniquely generous festival that cannot be missed!
