Skoah Boston: Personal Training For Skin

For the past two year’s I’ve had a personal trainer for my skin! Skoah Boston, at 641 Tremont Street in the South End, takes a “personal training” approach with their facials, giving your skin a “workout” in the form of a customized treatment based on your skin type and facial needs. At Skoah they don’t use any steam in their facials, just their amazing products, developed in-house by Skoah, headquartered in Vancouver Canada.

Skoah’s only U.S. location, just happens to be Boston, and since they opened in 2010 they’ve consistently won many well deserved awards, including Best of Boston Facial in Boston Magazine. If you’re new to Skoah, you can get a taste of what they have to offer with the Quickie facial – in under and hour your skin is cleaned, exfoliated, massaged and hydrated. At $45 it’s a great introduction to Skoah without breaking the bank!

My favorite part of my facials at Skoah are what I get to take home. I’m a complete convert to their products and use all of them  in my skin care regimen. Their products blend the best of nature with modern science, everything smells just amazing, and the glowing skin that results from using their products is a great perk too!

If you’re not quite ready to buy any products, you always get a free sample of something to take home at the end of your treatment! Best of all, if you don’t happen to live in Boston, all their products are available online. My favorite Skoah product is their Gel Kleanser, I use it twice a day, love the smell, and love the results.

Skoah also has plans to expand in the Boston area, they will be opening another location at 35 Newbury Street this summer!
