Danielle Kimiatek is a public relations specialist and former professional ballerina. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Danielle moved to New York City where she currently lives with her husband. A graduate of Ithaca College, Danielle has been in the public relations industry for over five years and has represented a wide array of clients ranging from fashion retailers and consumer products to non-profits. In her free time, Danielle can be found cooking, spending time with her nieces and nephews, trying new restaurants, going to the ballet, and exploring the city for boutique clothing stores. Rescue The Runway To Benefit Pups In Need In NYC

On Wednesday, May 15, join Rescue The Runway as 12 adoptable pups and their celebrity chaperons strut down the runway to benefit local animal welfare and rescue groups. The event is being held at the New York City Fire Museum, a former brick and limestone firehouse located in downtown Manhattan.RTR-logo

The runway show, hosted by 103.5 KTU’s Cindy Vero, will feature an open bar, gourmet tasting stations, live music, silent auction, raffles and much more.

Among the stars taking a stroll down the runway are Emma Kenny from the comedy series “Shameless,” Wesley Taylor of the hit show “Smash,” Suleika Jaouad who pens The New York Times “Life Interrupted” blog, and many more.

The evening will culminate with an unforgettable special performance from singer-songwriter Tora Fisher.

Rescue the Runway is a grassroots effort produced by a dedicated group of volunteers who recognize the need to promote animal welfare and rescue, and encourage the public to adopt. The organization will be donating 100% of the profits from the evening to three animal welfare and rescue groups including Animal Haven, Second Chance Rescue and Pibbles & More Animal Rescue Inc.
