Saddle up and hold on tight, because this is going to be quite the ride- a ride worthy of your support! Mark your calendars for Unbridled 3 to benefit Saddle Up! as Chris Cagle and his band prepare to rock Paradise Park Trailer Resort in Downtown Nashville, all in the name of a terrific cause. Proceeds from the concert will benefit Saddle Up!, a local non-profit organization whose mission is to “provide children and youth with disabilities the opportunity to grow and develop through therapeutic, educational and recreational activities with horses.”

In speaking with Chris Cagle I was able to grasp the tangible passion for the cause that lingered in his voice as he spoke so fondly of Saddle Up! As an avid and longtime lover of horses, Chris was immediately receptive to the idea of supporting this wonderful organization. He has indirectly been a supporter of Saddle Up! since 2000 and has directly made a deep impact within the last couple years. Cagle recalls being honored with a plaque from Saddle Up! for his fan club raising funds that exceeded expectations. Cagle expresses his amazement for his fans, “I never realized the power I had as an artist to influence others simply by doing what I love, my fans are amazing.” Cheryl Scutt, Executive Director of Saddle Up! adds “with someone like Chris, you get that added boost to reach beyond people and places that you normally wouldn’t. His “Cagleheads” fan club members, for example, became involved with Saddle Up! because of his involvement.”

Described by Scutt as having a huge heart, Cagle’s support has been nothing short of remarkable. “Chris has been a very strong and visible supporter for Saddle Up! for many years. In addition to donating all his talents, time and help for the actual concert, Chris has done interviews for multiple media.” Scutt adds, “his heart is truly huge, and he gives it all to his work on behalf of our program. Chris’ band is also amazing. They have donated their time each year, which is so wonderful. We just need to be able to bottle and sell Chris’ enthusiasm!”

As a loyal backer of Saddle Up! Chris explains the importance behind the cause that fuels his passion. “It’s a twofold thing. You see so many people in the horse business that make their money from selling and breeding and a lot of times big time show horses wind up being discarded. However, Saddle Up! continues the purpose of the horse’s life. I see the difference in the horses and I see the difference in a child in a wheelchair, it changes them; and if you get around it enough, it changes you.”

Chris Cagle’s Unbridled 3 Benefit Concert gives you an opportunity to go out and support a special cause while jamming out to some of Chris’ rockin’ tunes from his new album “Back in the Saddle,” as well as an array of older hits. The event will also feature a Redneck River-Era Costume Contest where attendees are encouraged to come in their best representation of Nashville’s version of the French Riviera. Following the costume contest a karaoke competition will ensue to pull talent of all levels up to the stage to give it all they’ve got!

Chris is confident that attendees can count on a good time in the name of a good cause. “We are going to play hard and do what we can to raise money for Saddle Up!” In this case, don’t hold your horses or your support and get your tickets now!
