The Chicago Academy for the Arts will host A Taste for the Arts Gala which will feature top chefs from Chicago’s popular dining show, “Check Please!“. The event will begin with a student performance at Harris Theater, and will be followed by dinner at Millenium Park Terrace. Guests will be invited to sample nine food stations, cocktails, silent and live auctions, and a performance by the CAA Jazz Ensemble. Elements of “Check Please!” will be incorporated into the event.
The culinary team, led by Rick Bayless (Frontera Grill, Topolobampo), incudes, Alberto Gonzalez (90 Miles Cuban Cafe), Scott Harris (Davanti Enoteca), Richard James (Frontera Grill), Shawn McClain (Green Zebra), Mindy Gohr (Bittersweet), Thai Dang (Embeya), Tony Priolo (Piccolo Sogno), Doug Dunlay (Smoke Daddy BBQ), Andres Padilla (Topolobampo), and Chef Chao (Union Sushi).
