SNOBSWAP and Dewdrop join forces to host Swap in the City, a charity swap party and fashion show on May 9, 2013 at 1776. Washingtonian fashionistas are invited to swap and shop designer fashions and accessories to help put an end to domestic violence and its devastating effects on women and their families.
Swap In the City will bring together DC’s top fashion movers and shakers for a fun-filled evening of shopping and style sneak peaks. Attendees, as they drop off their swap items, will enjoy complimentary cocktails and nosh with DJ Kryogen in the house spinning the tunes and Comcast Sports’ Julie Donaldson serving as hostess with the latest looks from D’Milikah modeled on the runway by CapFabb bloggers. The dazzling evening will end with a high-end clothing swap where the event-goers will walk away with coveted, designer goods all to support a worthy cause. All un-swapped clothing and accessories will be donated to the Goodwill of Greater Washington and a portion of the event ticket proceeds will benefit Becky’s Fund, a non-profit whose purpose is to foster awareness, encourage advocacy, promote activism and create support for victims of domestic violence.
