Lindsey Jo Hand realized her love for writing and sharing information at a very young age. Over the years, she has worked as a journalist, a technical writer, and has done some academic writing as well. Lindsey is also a professor of communications for American Military University. During her spare time, she teaches guitar and piano lessons to children, which is one of her greatest joys. She also enjoys volunteering with Hippo Associates or the Southeastern Greyhound Association, making music, exercising, painting, and doing anything outdoors. She also loves spending time with her family, friends, and her dog and two cats.

Buckhead Wine Festival At East Andrews Entertainment District

As the finale of the Atlanta Food & Wine Month, the second annual Buckhead Wine Festival will be taking place on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the East Andrews Entertainment District. The festival, presented by Grape Crush Productions, will be offering an afternoon of wine tastings, delicious treats from local vendors, wine education seminars, live music, and much more. Entertainment will include a live DJ and local musicians performing through out the event. Self parking and complimentary valet parking will be available. VIP entry begins at 1:00 p.m., and regular admission begins at 3:00 p.m.

Aside from a wine-filled evening of fun, the Buckhead Wine Festival is also partnering with Atlanta Community Food Bank for the second year. Wine festival attendees are encouraged to bring and donate canned foods. Individuals who donate will be entered to win one of several door prizes, including bottles of fine wine and a private in-home wine tasting.
