San Diego’s Little Italy is the home of a little piece of fashion heaven called the Vocabulary Boutique. Owned by a veteran local fashion stylist, Cecelia Church, who started her career styling theater costumes and props, Vocabulary Boutique is more than your typical retail space where you go and buy a dress. Customers go to Vocabulary for the experience, fashion advice, and personal styling services; Cecelia is a woman full of talents and resources. Want to spice up your fashion style but don’t know where to start? Need a location for a fashion photo shoot? Perhaps a piece of custom jewelry? Cecelia will know exactly where to get it for you or who to connect you with. She’s our very own living Fashion Wikipedia!
And if Cecelia is not there the day you visit, you will most likely have a chance to meet Dani Kanemitsu, an up-and-coming wardrobe stylist with commercial, print/editorial, and runway jobs under her belt. Vocabulary’s tagline is “Articulate Your Style,” and Cecelia and Dani will help you do just that with their chic, affordable apparel and an amazing collection of accessories which are out-of-this-world beautiful!
Intrigued yet? Then join Cecelia for an exclusive afternoon tea featuring her Spring favorites in apparel and accessories. Enjoy a lovely cup of tea while watching guest models showcase Vocabulary Boutique’s Chic Spring Collection. The collection will feature pieces by Vee by Veronica Scott (fine women’s clothing designed and produced in California) with hair by DK Hair.
