Mad Men Inspired Cocktails Featuring Basil Hayden’s Bourbon

I’m barely holding on until the return of Mad Men for its sixth season. Amazing that Don Draper has only been in our lives, or living rooms, for such a short time, but oh, the impact. Charming, handsome, and a  job where you drink in the middle of the day?  Times have changed, but the cocktails can still be enjoyed. Here are a few recipes to sip as we are transported back in time.

Basil Hayden’s Bourbon has been artfully aged to taste ,with rich hints of peppermint, notes of pepper, slight citrus overtones, and a spicy, warming finish. I think Don Draper would approve. Remember to sip responsibly and wait til your home from work to enjoy.
