Event coordinator Jaimie Stramondo and the Miami team have reached out to the community to collect evening-wear and accessories for Becca’s closet.  They are also offering twenty percent off of Nicole Miller designs for anyone who brings items to the event to donate.

Becca’s Closet is a nationwide charity and one of South Florida’s leading organizations that benefits underprivileged girls.  It’s a non-profit organization that provides formal dresses and accessories to girls that are unable to afford them.  Becca’s Closet was created to honor the work and memory of Rebecca Kirtman, who was a high school student that single-highhandedly collected and distributed over 250 formal dresses to South Florida prom-goers in 2003.  The charity also awards three non-renewable post secondary education scholarships to high school students that have demonstrated outstanding community service.
