Meera Rajagopalan is the Austin Editor for Miss A. A proud Longhorn, Meera earned her journalism degree from UT. Some of her hobbies include event planning, writing and baking. She loves trying new recipes and experimenting with food. Her latest creation was Pistachio Fudge. There’s something about finding the perfect font to help enhance titles. Besides her hobbies, Meera loves free stuff. So far besides tons of samples, she’s won concert tickets, movie passes (compliments of Do512) and a cooking class.

Each performance the Ballet Austin team puts on is nothing short of amazing. Ballet Austin’s Cult of Color: Call to Color is not any different. It is one of Ballet Austin’s “most innovative collaborations.” It tells the story of a vegan priest’s journey to bring color back to the black and white underworld.

Miss A writer, Leslie Silver had the opportunity to interview Stephen Mills, Ballet Austin’s Artistic Director, about the play.  Mills encourages audience members to come to the performance “with an open mind and no expectation of seeing tutu’s.”
