Miss A Columnist

Lesley Haenny is the Seattle Editor for Miss A. She is an Air Force wife now living in the Seattle area. Prior to living in Seattle, Lesley spent 7 years in Washington, DC, working as a Congressional liaison. She grew up in a small, mountain town in Southern California, sandwiched between an older sister and a younger brother. Her two hard working parents taught her to always go for the clearance rack, bring your lunch everyday, work hard for what you have, and always take the opportunity to travel and play outside. Lesley has been actively involved in various charities such as the Animal Resource Foundation, Komen For the Cure, Prevent Cancer Foundation, American Diabetes Association and the Race for Hope (benefitting the National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure).

Westfield Southcenter will host two style seminars with Seattle’s finest fashionista, Darcy Camden, from Styled Seattle. Darcy will impart her fashion wisdom to all in attendance, discussing the latest trends for Spring and will feature clothes from stores located at Southcenter (so you can then purchase them after the seminar!). Raffle tickets will be available to purchase for some awesome prizes, including a three hour personal styling session with Styled Seattle and a $500 Westfield gift card! All the money from the raffle and ticket sales will be going to benefit the charity, Treehouse.

After the seminars, head up to the ticketed VIP lounge to receive a free goodie bag (includes a $20 Guess shopping card) and chat with stylists about what trends are right for you. The VIP lounge will also include appetizers from Bahama Breeze, decadent dessert from The Confectional and a glass of wine from Girly Girl Wines.

You can also enter to win complimentary VIP access! Share your attendance to Trends for Treehouse with brandbuddee, one of the only websites where you can share stories about the brands you love and earn different types of rewards! Click here to enter the campaign!
