Are you ready for DIFFA Dallas? Don’t worry you still have time to buy a ticket and a dress, but not much time. Make plans to attend the black tie celebration of fashion and design. Experience a silent auction including designer jackets, live auction, dinner, an amazing runway show, theater, after party, spectacle and excitement in a way that only DIFFA can deliver. All benefiting North Texas HIV/AIDS charities.
The mission of Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) is to raise funds and grant those funds to organizations which fight HIV/AIDS by providing preventative education programs targeted to populations at risk of infection, treatment and direct care services for people living with/impacted by HIV/AIDS and that support public policy initiatives which add resources to private sector funds. DIFFA is the oldest and one of the largest funders of HIV/AIDS service and education programs in the U.S. Since its founding in 1984, DIFFA has mobilized the immense resources of the design communities to provide over $38 million to hundreds of AIDS organizations nationwide. Starting with volunteers from fashion, interior design, furnishings and architecture, supporters of DIFFA now come from every field associated with fine design. DIFFA has also been an innovative agent in drawing local and national corporations into the fight against the epidemic, and enjoys tremendous support from the business community.
Designers from all over the world unveil their custom jacket creations and you never know what you’re going to see. The decor and table scapes will be magnificent. The runway show is always daring, and the after party usually turns out to be the party of the year. It’s not just about the clothes, although the clothes are pretty important, but the more important aspect is about raising money for a wonderful organization. Whether you want to go elegantly conservative or show off your assets, we have the perfect gowns and shoe ideas for you.
