Whether she is a fiery red head or her natural, angelic blond Emma Stone remains steadfast in her personality; She’s funny and charming with a wit as clever as her movies. She has delighted us as the not-so-easy Olive in Easy A and, more recently, as the incomparable Grace Faraday in Gangster Squad all while doing a wonderful job of being the face for Revlon and several of their products, like their Nearly Naked Foundation and Just Bitten Lip Balm. It seems that this week’s Beauty is a very busy woman indeed, but not so busy that she can’t stop to help others.
Ms. Stone is not shy about the causes she supports, such as the Worldwide Orphan’s Foundation, a large non-profit organization dedicated to helping the emotional, physical, and intellectual well-being of children alone in the world. Ms. Stone went as far as to use the incessant paparazzi for good when she and beau Andrew Garfield sported signs declaring support for their favorite charities, including the Worldwide Orphans Foundation. Earlier this month she attended a benefit in New York City to help raise money for the charity in the hopes that children all over the world will be given the care they need in their own communities.
Ms. Stone also supports Stand Up To Cancer, an organization dedicated to curing all forms of cancer that plague the planet. The Revlon spokeswoman is the daughter of a breast cancer survivor herself. Last year, she participated in a telethon to raise funds for the research foundation so that others could be spared the pain of cancer or of watching a loved one go through it.
Revlon can be proud of their girl as she goes through the world doing good, all while looking fresh and fabulous. The next time ours lips have that Just Bitten look, we can all be happy that the delightful Ms. Stone will be out supporting her favorite causes while she wears the same look; maybe we should all make a napkin sign today while we enjoy the newest Emma Stone movie. Come back next Friday to see another star who is showing her beauty inside and out.
