With Atlanta being known the place to find the Big Rich reality stars, to the home of the southern Real Housewives it had to be one of the three cities to host the Baby Bash and Bling Expo & Show. The classy and elegant show hosted by Talking With Tami’s famous mommy fashion blogger Tami Reed, had everything from luxury jewelry, clothing and healthcare retailers all ready to get the mommies-to-be ready for their new bundles of joy. There was something for everyone: Men, Women and Children….very different from most of the baby shows of yesteryear.
For the women, there were several vendors at the event that had things that they could appreciate before, after and during their pregnancy. Origami Owl has a table filled with items from their Living Locket® collection on a buy 4 get 1 free sale. This collection was started by a 14 year old in 2010 who’s mission is for women of all ages to reach their dreams and to empower them to make a difference in the lives of others. A beautiful testament seen in the intricate customizable pieces displayed at the show.
For the post-baby mamas who were seeking a way to get those last few inches off It Works was there with their famous body wraps. All you need is 45 minutes and the spot you wrapped will be tightened, toned and firmed just in time for Spring Break. Their table was covered in before and after pictures of tummies, thighs and torsos that were changed seemingly over a matter of minutes with their product line.
The daddies were not left out in the cold during this event there were plenty for them to enjoy as well. Daddy Scrubs participated in one of the three Bump the Runway fashion shows showcasing their expectant dad fashions including I’m the Daddy Scrubs hospital wear for men. The dads looked great in the outfits designed to make them feel just as special as the new mommies.
Petite models ages 4-14 stole the show, as they showcased My Bougie Baby’s Spring Line by the lovely Wendy Pittman. These young ladies strutted the hottest new styles for spring down the pink runway representing the line’s age appropriate fashions. Created for her daughter Tiffani Rae, Pittman’s line featured vivid spring colors with subtle calm hues that truly set the tone for the afternoon.
With its intimate and luxurious setting at the W Hotel Buckhead and hot beats by DJ Princess Cuts the show was a success and a crowd favorite and we’re excited about their return. Baby Bash and Bling was created by Monica Byrd and produced by Maggy Francois, Executive Director of Special Events.
