A local Colorado business understands the importance of having fun and staying healthy.  Located in downtown Littleton The Ballet Physique offers a world-class workout. This is a group exercise class with the ability to sculpt your body!  The Ballet Physique specializes in ballet barre classes and personalized workouts. This studio is made extra special by the teachers and owner who are invested in getting you in great shape. Barre classes are unique because  they are based on small tailored movements that target specific areas such as arms, butt, legs, abs, and thighs. The workouts are short and intense. You will get your heart rate up by doing movements at a quicker speed but the workout remains focused on tone and control. A good barre instructor keeps you motivated throughout the workout and Kristin Zurek, owner of The Ballet Physique, is a master at this. Her personal stories and willingness to share and instruct are very motivational. She is watchful of her students and knowledgeable about all the movements she teaches.

Kristen started the business after taking barre classes herself and seeing a lack of this great type of class in Colorado. She founded the Ballet Physique to bring this specialized workout to the West. Kristen is a dancer who danced with The Canyon Concert Ballet Company in Fort Collins. She now creates her own style of ballet barre to highlight the athletic elements she enjoys in ballet.

Kristin and The Ballet Physique recently produced a workout video so that you can challenge yourself to do barre classes at home. Their motto is, “you don’t have to be a dancer to look like one.” The energy of the instructors, especially Kristen S., easily translates to the DVD and all the workouts are inspiring and worthwhile. These workouts can be varied to different fitness levels and the instructors demonstrate this throughout the workout. The video is challenging and something to be practiced so you can begin to feel a difference in your body. Be sure to watch the intro portion of the video before you begin to become comfortable with the movements.

The classes at the Ballet Physique are fun and intense! Check out their class schedule to get signed up!
