Does Tina Turner age?  When I caught a glimpse today of the April 2013 German Vogue, I was amazed at how stunning Turner looked.   What makes this cover memorable is that Turner, who is 73, is the oldest cover model of the fashion magazine.  Taking the title away from Meryl Streep.  However, lets get back to her look as well as her amazing skin.

Celebrtiy Makeup Artist Luca Mannucci did Turner’s makeup using Giorgio Armani Cosmetics.

To perfect Turner’s skin, they applied Maestro Fusion Makeup Foundation.

To create the smokey eye they used Eyes to Kill Quad Palette #04 Effeto Nudo.  The neutral bright beige was used as the highlight shade.  Followed by the sandy taupe shade to add brightness to the inner eye lid.  To create the smoke in the corners a combination of the darker matte taupe and tierra shades were applied.

For a pop of color Rouge d’Armani Sheer Scarlato #402, an incandescent red.  A trick that Tina uses when she rocks a red lip is she puts a touch of bright orange in the center of her bottom lip.

The title of German Vogue is “Simply the Best” and I believe that it exactly how Tina looked.  The issue came out today and while on stands in the US may be hard to find, you can purchase a copy of the magazine online.
