In the past few months I’ve become obsessed with a new make-up line, not only for the quality of the products but also for the price. I first saw NYX Cosmetics in a gift bag and then again at another LA event.
Often I would spend three times the amount or more for similar products, but this NYX Cosmetic Line offers the best products for an average $5 price range. I was shocked that these products were as good as their more expensive counterparts, if not better!
My Favorites Make-Up Products by NYX
Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator. I love using this around my eyes and cheekbones to achieve a glow. In both Sunbeam and Gleam shades, a tiny bit of this cream makes you look awake and luminous with just a tad bit of color. For $7, this product is a miracle. Before, I would’ve spent $40 for the same effect.

NYX Butter Gloss. Yum! It smells and tastes delicious, and there are so many color choices from natural shades of pink to power house red and orange. I love the different looks each color can achieve. And at $5 per gloss, you can’t beat the price! The butter gloss is not sticky, it’s just creamy and comes in 12 scrumptious colors.

NYX Collection Chocolate Eyeliner. For the daytime and work, I like to look more natural. Brown eyeliner is the perfect choice. This glossy brown liner, which comes in different thicknesses, is my favorite, since it is smudge-free. The collection has 6 different formulations for lustrous eyeliners–matte, satin, glossy pencils, and liquid eyeliners–each for the bargain price of $6.

NYX Shadow Palettes. These eye shadows come in combinations such as, Love in Paris, Love in Florence, Love in Rio, and NYX, The Smokey and Natural Shadow Palettes. These creamy eyeshadows come in so many awesome color combinations, so you can choose between daytime coolness or nighttime flair. My personal favorites are the five purple hues called Love in Florence ($8) and the nine deep shades with a focus on shimmery browns and mochas called Love in Paris ($10).

NYX Wonder Pencil. These pencils are just that–a wonder! It is a tool used for multiple purposes, as a concealer for your eyes, a brightener, or a liner. It can even be used as a lip liner or an eye brightener near your water line and is available in three shades to match your skin tone. ($4.50)
